Join us for an exciting 3-day safari to explore three of Tanzania’s most famous national parks: Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. This trip is perfect for travelers who want to see a wide variety of wildlife and stunning landscapes in a short time.

We designed this itinerary to give you the best experience in just three days. If you have your own ideas or want to visit different places, we are happy to customize the safari to fit your needs.

Day 01: Arusha To Tarangire

After you arrive, your friendly safari guide will meet you at the airport. From there, you will  begin your journey to Tarangire National Park, the first stop on your safari adventure.

As you travel, enjoy the scenic drive through the countryside and listen to your guide share interesting stories about Arusha’s history and the Maasai culture. It’s a great introduction to life in northern Tanzania.

Once you arrive in Tarangire, you’ will start exploring this beautiful park, known for its wide-open landscapes, seasonal swamps, and large herds of elephants. With a bit of luck, you might also spot lions, leopards, or even cheetahs. The park is also home to huge baobab trees, which are a unique and unforgettable sight.

During the day, you will stop to enjoy a hot lunch in the park, surrounded by nature. After lunch, continue with your game drive, spotting more wildlife as the day cools down and animals become more active.

In the late afternoon, you will  leave the park and head to your lodge in Karatu or Mto wa Mbu, where you can relax, have dinner, and rest for the night.

As you pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, take in the stunning views of the iconic Ngorongoro Crater before continuing onward to the Serengeti National Park, arriving around midday.

The Serengeti is Tanzania’s largest national park, renowned for its varied landscapes, which include vast grassy plains, swamps, lakes, savannahs, and rugged mountains. It is famous for the spectacular annual migration of wildebeest and zebras, where thousands of animals traverse the park in search of fresh grazing and water—a breathtaking natural phenomenon depending on the season.

Following an extensive game drive exploring this remarkable wilderness, you will stay overnight at a lodge or tented camp inside the Serengeti, where you can relax and enjoy the wild surroundings.

Start your day with a delicious breakfast as the sun rises over the African landscape. Then, set off for a full-day adventure in the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most iconic wildlife areas in the world. Known as the “Garden of Eden”, this incredible place is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to a huge variety of animals.

As you descend into the crater, you will  enter a completely unique environment where you have a chance to see the Big Five—lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, and leopards—as well as many other species like wildebeest, zebras, and various birds.

Your experienced guide will help you spot wildlife and explain how the crater’s special ecosystem supports so many animals in such a small area. The landscapes are just as stunning as the wildlife, with open grasslands, forests, and a soda lake that often attracts flamingos.
