Day 01: Arusha - Manyara.
In the morning at 8:00 am your safari guide/driver will meet you at your hotel in Arusha ready to start your safari, and by 10:00 am you will have arrived at Lake Manyara.
This park offers breathtaking views and a large variety of habitats, including acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab-strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps, and the lake itself. Thanks to this the small park can support a large number of animal species and incredible bird life. Manyara has the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world and the lions here are also renowned for their tree climbing but big cats aren't that easily seen. Elephants are prolific and are the main attraction.
During lunchtime, you will be provided a lunch box, after which the safari will continue.
In the early evening, you will drive to your lodge at Mto wa mbu for Dinner and over overnight
Overnight: Twiga Lodge or Similar.
Meals Plan: Full Board.
Day 02: Mto wa mbu - Tarangire.
After breakfast, your driver/guide will be ready to drive you to Tarangire National Park for another beautiful game drive.
This park is the third largest National park in Tanzania. It offers a diverse geological landscape with nine distinct vegetation zones from grassland to woodland, from deep gully vegetation to scattered rocky hilltops. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetah, an unusually large elephant population, and the largest recorded concentration of breeding bird species in the world. Tarangire River is the only permanent water supply in the area.
During lunchtime, you will be provided a lunch box, after which the safari will continue.
By early evening you will be on your way back to your hotel in Arusha.

# You should be aware that this is wild nature, so the guide cannot make any guarantees on the presence of specific wild animals, but you can be sure he will do his best to find everything you're looking for! The Zanki team has its radio channel that the drivers use to communicate with other guides and collaborate on searches for rare species.
